Dyed Red Water Buffalo Knife Handle Scales, 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8" (Pair of 2)

These dyed red water buffalo horn knife handle scales are imported from India and sold as a pair. The dye penetrates about 1/8" revealing the natural black color beneath. As a natural product, each pair of scales has unique grain, color, and shape. As a very dense, organic knife handle material, some horn may come slightly warped. This can be fixed by heating in an oven at 200 degrees F (100C), and clamping in a vise until cool. DO NOT BOIL the dyed horn, as the dye can leech out. No two pairs are exactly the same. Each is approximately 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8".
